Garage door springs are under extreme pressure. Because the torsion spring is wound a number of times
to be able to lift the weight of the door it is always under extreme tension. This tension can range from 100lbs
to well over 300lbs. What does this mean? If the tension is improperly released by removing the brackets from
the door it can cause the parts door to become dangerous projectiles .striking or causing serious injury or death
